One of Russia’s leading pharmaceutical companies entrusted us with supplying of the core equipment for their new manufacturing area for metered dose inhalers. The product range included drugs to be filled for multinational strategic partners for respiratory diseases, including asthma and COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), to be processed as 1-step and 2-step formulations.

The wide product portfolio required a flexible solution, whereas the planned production capacities demanded a high speed filling line.

A balancing act we managed to master at its finest with our long-term partner Pamasol and to the complete satisfaction of our customer.

Together we started up the most powerful and capable MDI filling in CIS, a Minicentomat with can cleaning and several rotary turrets with quick change devices, and an automated sampling system completely built into a controlled clean air environment with specific air handling in different equipment sections.
