Together with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Global Environment Facility (GEF), we have been working on various projects in the CIS over the last decades. The last two projects we realized addressed the topic of phase-out of CFC consumption in the manufacture of aerosol Metered Dose Inhalers (MDI) in the Russian Federation, and to reduce future GHG emissions.

To reach this target, two MDI companies in the Russian Federation required technology transfers from established multinational enterprises that have experience in the development and manufacture of MDIs using CFC-free technologies, as well as conversion of their manufacturing facilities from using CFCs to manufacture MDIs with CFC-free propellant.

After extensive project studies we won the tender to supply the technological part of the MDI equipment and the integration into the production environment for both projects with OAO Moschimpharmpreparaty and ZAO Altayvitaminy. Recently, the last project was completed successfully, giving satisfaction to have contributed a little bit to fight the climate change.
